Sooner or later everyone eats their own words! Recently, this little girl has entered my life and made me eat mine! As I grow older and it takes me longer to do ANYTHING, including cleaning my house; I have always said I would NEVER have a house dog. I was dead set against having a dog in my house because of the shedding, the possible bathroom issues, and just the thought in general. Boy…was my mind changed after Abby walked in to my life!
Abby, a Maltese, is the best dog a person could imagine. She is house broken, does not have any neurotic issues like barking or chewing, does not shed…in a nutshell, she is the perfect dog for someone who has the Obsessive Compulsive impulses that I have been accused of having.
My niece, Andrea found Abby for me. She was living with a young couple who was about to have their second child and little Abby was taking a back seat to the children and their lives.
I can assure you, she is the Queen of my household! She rules the roost! She has even gotten her bluff in on Bailey and Toby, who are four times bigger than a Maltese. She marches up to their pen and barks out her orders, as I am opening the gate. It is hilarious to see them jump!
I have to give Andrea a big “THANK YOU” for finding Abby for me! This little gal has filled a portion of a very big void in my heart!
