In spite of the gloomy, rainy day; I decided to bring a little sunshine to the afternoon with Frosted Grapes. Let the record show that I am looking forward to my retirement, someday! I still have a few years to go yet and that is why I am “green” with envy that my brother-in-law, Jim has decided to retire…bite the bullet, take the plunge, and sink his ship (or tow boat) at work to retire!
Third times charm? I actually carved this shark fruit tray (that I named Jaws) for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law’s 40th wedding anniversary last year. The celebration had a beach theme and what more fitting than a watermelon shark from a Florida beach? They are big on Florida, so I thought Jaws was appropriate!
Yet another fruit tray creation called “Life’s a Beach!” The Beach is not my favorite past time, but is a big drawing place to a whole lot of people. I made this fruit tray for my niece, April who requested it for a wedding with a beach theme.
