Oh brother was it windy today! I had the homestead all to myself because the Hubby was at work all day. When he got home, I had this Cabbage and Sausage dish prepared, along with Saffron Rice and Green Beans. I was given the Cabbage and Sausage recipe by my High School classmate and friend, Vicki. She told me how her family really loved it and so I thought I would try it out for dinner tonight. It was delicious and was very easy to make.

“Good Golly Miss Molly” this is delicious! We are cooked cabbage fans anyway, but to put a little different spin and ramp up the flavor, I made it Fried Cabbage and let me tell you the frying intensifies the taste of the cabbage…not to mention the bacon compliments it famously.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I decided to serve Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner. Since I am a working woman, I took a regular recipe and adapted it to cook in my slow-cooker. Most of the time, I try my best to have dinner ready (or almost ready) when we both get home.
