One of the items I always buy for the freezer, during the Christmas holiday, is a loaf of Panettone. Once the smoke has cleared from the hectic season, I pull out my Panettone and make something that soothes the soul. The Hubby and I are not working today, so I thought I would start the day off right with an up-lifting breakfast.
I know the theme of this post is a little early, but the company I work for has planned a Bake Sale tomorrow to benefit the children of our surrounding area, that might not otherwise have a nice Christmas. My contribution to the Bake Sale is this Gingerbread House cake. It is actually a solid bundt cake of gingerbread! I fell in love with this cake pan several months ago and had to have it!
Just for snacking, these delicious Cinnamon Pecans are the bomb! I made these pecans for us to eat while we are watching the St. Louis Cardinal World Series game tonight. I hope they win!
