Leftover ham and a big hunk of Gouda cheese led me down the path of this scrumptious soup. Red Pepper, Gouda and Ham Soup is what I call “rib sticking” and is now on my list of favorites.
I happened upon this recipe by way of my friend and co-worker, Missy. She and I eat lunch together most days and one day she had this great smelling roast beef sandwich. She told me it was called a Bama Steak Sandwich and how she made it.
A Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is the solution to a left-over steak. We grilled Rib Eye Steaks last night and had a steak left…as I have said before, I am not a BIG meat eater. I eat some meat but very small portions and therefore almost always have a steak (or almost a whole steak) left-over.
In an attempt to quickly get dinner on the table (story of my life), I came up with Sausage and Pepper Scramble and it was a big hit with the Hubby and me! If you live on a farm and especially this time of the year, you want to put the meal on the table as quick as possible so you can go on about your farming business before the sun sets.
